SUMMARY:

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Finance Manager to work with our Construction Service Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

  • Perform daily reconciliation of the main bank trust account.
  • Maintain updated reconciliation of all customer projects, individual accounts, and interest-bearing accounts.
  • Post funds once received in the general trust account to the appropriate ECL application to be applied to the projects.
  • Issue checks, obtain signatures, and post funds when required.
  • Serve as liaison between regular services, office-related expenses, and the accounts payable department.
  • Maintain records and report accounts receivables on a timely basis.
  • Open, maintain, and close bank accounts per requirements of customer/organization.
  • Maintain all bank account reconciliations.
  • Review, complete, and comply with regular bank requirements.
  • Assist in managing requirements sent by the Division of Mortgage Lending.
  • Coordinate and provide support on third-party risk assessments with lenders.
  • Monthly or Quarterly reporting of financial results to the corporate office and local team with a summary of monthly billing and recognition.
  • Upload daily positive paycheck files to minimize fraud risk. Validate exceptions on the bank website.
  • Manage additional bank-related requests such as stop payments, check copies, etc.
  • Input/approve bank wire transfers as requested.
  • W-9 verification with IRS with TI numbers.
  • Run monthly W-9 report for missing TI numbers.
  • Assist with state division audits as needed.
  • General office management.
  • Other duties as directed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Extensive knowledge of voucher control activities: Statute 627 and 645A. Statutes we are governed by in Nevada.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed.
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat & Reader.
  • Knowledge of ECL a plus

QUALIFICATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive financial and construction experience is required.
  • Strong leadership background required, encompassing effective communication, motivation, and team building/team performance skills.
  • 3 to 5 years managing construction finance processes.
  • College degree in Finance, Construction Management, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person, by email, and over the phone.
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling throughout the work shift.
