Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with key practice stakeholders to drive operations and processes within the Building Envelope, Structural and Owners Rep practices with the utmost efficiency and technical accuracy and scale the overall businesses. Other practices to be considered in the future.
- Partner with practice leads consistently.
- Identify pinch points and problem solve when the process is not working or is slowed.
- Review key metrics, bookings, volume, billable multiple times daily to proactively provide recommendations for possible solutions to labor or process roadblocks then take action to implement the solution.
- Interface with other practices to maximize efficiencies, resource sharing and cross training opportunities as needed.
- Ensure effective and efficient use of shared internal resources and external sub-contractors.
- Lead operations meetings, such as the balcony call, and others in the future to ensure the team is aligned and any problems that may have arisen are addressed.
- Be the positive presence for stakeholders and team members as well as a resource to solve problems and put out ‘fires’. Start with yes.
- Ensure invoices are sent and tracked appropriately to keep up with AR and revenue generation.
- Be a liaison to internal clients (RMs) to ensure they have the resources they need provide great service to the client. Implement changes based on their feedback to ensure we are providing a superior client experience.
- Work with talent acquisition team to review, screen and hire new talent and also manage open job requisitions based on key metrics. Seek approval to open requisitions, as needed.
- Additional duties may be assigned based on need of practices or manager to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 to7 years of relevant experience
- Construction or Consulting experience preferred but not required
