The Budget Manager position requires solid accounting and finance knowledge; we are especially interested in candidates with budgeting and forecasting experience who show initiative, have strong analytical skills, are quick to learn and have a positive outlook. The Budget Manager works with our schools to develop and track spending plans, oversee and review financial reporting and transactions, and manage the annual audit process. They also serve as our internal team lead, working closely with our accountants and A/P staff to assure all client needs are met.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, as well as solid experience with Excel. A background in school finance/accounting is preferred. Dynamics GP, Solver, ReqLogic or other accounting based software is a plus. Experience in customer service and relationship building is key.
