Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5:00pm
Role
Assists and oversees daily responsibilities of Funding team, assists with questions and training, and is the direct point of contact for all funding related questions from dealerships and management.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
30% Assists and works closely with the AVP of Indirect Operations to ensure contracts are received, logged and worked timely.
25% Monitors incomplete loan packets and works with dealerships to obtain missing documents.
20% Assists with daily oversight of post-closing loan follow-up activities, including verification of all documents received, final contract matches approval in indirect software, verify loan set-up in the core matches the contract received from the dealership.
15% Provides support for funding department as needed or directed by the AVP of Indirect Operations, including follow-up call to member, verify service, vehicle information, stips and add-ons; reports any discrepancies to the AVP of Indirect Operations and AVP of Underwriting.
5% Completes funding process- prepares entries to the General Ledger for new Indirect loans, prepares ACH for appropriate dealership.
5% Recommends alterations or revisions to department policies and procedures as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Requirements:Knowledge and Skills
Experience
Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A high school degree or GED is required.
Interpersonal Skills
Courtesy and tact are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization, generally regarding fairly routine matters for the purposes of giving and obtaining information or instructions, updating or referring. Communications generally require shorter and not in-depth discussions.

Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely
attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to perform work primarily indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise and minimal outdoors in different weather conditions.
