Partners Environmental Consulting, Inc., an established and growing environmental, safety, engineering and surveying consulting firm with offices in Solon and Akron Ohio, New Jersey, New York and Colorado.

Practice Area: Environmental Due Diligence / Mergers & Acquisition

Location: Solon Office, with some remote work availability

Position: Environmental Professional I

Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 (based upon level of experience and education)

Summary: Partners’ Environmental Due Diligence, Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Area services a broad range of clients, typically completing initial environmental assessments to meet legal and lender requirement prior to property transactions. The Environmental Professional I provides support and works independently on small projects. After demonstrating consistent competence in addressing environmental issues, they will be assigned additional tasks. This is an entry level position with room for growth and exposure to different and more complex practice areas.

Essential Duties

  • Complete Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA);
  • Mix of field and office work;
  • Gather current & historical data;
  • Maintain complete and legible field notes; and
  • Write reports which convey the comprehensive findings of the environmental assessment and provide supporting tables, figures, and photographs which illustrate information presented in the report text.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or related discipline is required;
  • Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in environmental consulting related to ESAs;;
  • Has a basic understanding of environmental regulations at the state and federal level;
  • Exceptional technical writing skills (writing samples may be requested);
  • Excellent communication organizational, and time management, skills;
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently;
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record;
  • Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training certificate is preferred (or ability to obtain training prior to hire date); and
  • Experience in GIS, CAD, or similar tools is a plus.
