OVERVIEW OF ASSIGNMENT
This Temporary IT Technician position will be responsible for the following:
- Provide AV/IT assistance in hybrid/virtual meetings
- Assist staff using Windows laptop/desktop who are working remotely or on premises
- Troubleshoot hardware/software problems
- Assist in moving IT and IT-related equipment as needed or directed by supervisor
- Provide first level tier support for helpdesk
- Inventory of computing and IT-related equipment
- Other duties as needed/directed by a supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
For this assignment, candidates referred should possess the following background:
- Demonstrated experience in tier 1 IT support
- Demonstrated doing troubleshooting desktop/laptop client computers
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Windows/Office and O365 applications
- Help Desk/User Support experience over phone and in person
- A certification is highly desirable
DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT: This assignment is expected to last approximately 6 months (with a possibility to extend up to 12 months), working 40 hours per week.
WORK SCHEDULE: The schedule is expected to be four 10-hour days (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), Tuesday through Friday.
WORK LOCATION: Diamond Bar, at the junction of the 57 and 60 freeways -- parking is free; there is a cafeteria on-site.
