Position Overview:
The Development Director will lead the organization’s fundraising strategy and oversee all aspects of development, including individual giving, pledges, grants, events, and corporate sponsorships. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate development professional to manage a comprehensive fundraising program and contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Partner closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Director, to ensure fundraising efforts are mission-aligned and supports both annual and long-term organizational priorities.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, corporate sponsors, and pledge partners to secure sustainable financial support.
- Lead the design and execution of annual giving campaigns, planned giving strategies, and special fundraising events or programs.
- Research, write, and manage grant proposals and reporting, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor fundraising progress through data analysis and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact and growth.
Community Engagement & Donor Stewardship
- Build and nurture strong, values-based relationships with donors, community partners, and funders who align with our vision of child and family support.
- Design and implement meaningful stewardship plan to recognize and retain supporters through thoughtful communication and engagement.
- Represent Partners In Learning at community events, donor meetings, and networking opportunities to elevate our visibility and increase engagement.
- Lead donor communications and marketing initiatives across print and digital platforms to effectively support fundraising campaigns.
