We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections. This role is crucial in supporting the overall financial health of our organization and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
This is a part-time position.
Monday-Friday 8am-12 : 30pm
Key Responsibilities :
- Invoice Generation : Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Payment Collection : Monitor and track outstanding invoices, ensuring payments are received by the due date.
- Customer Communication : Liaise with customers regarding account balances, overdue invoices, and payment disputes. Provide excellent customer service while resolving any issues.
- Account Reconciliation : Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accuracy in records, including payment applications, credits, and debits.
- Reporting : Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and payment status for management review.
- Record Maintenance : Maintain up-to-date customer information and financial records in the accounting system.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address issues related to billing and payment discrepancies.
- Follow-up : Perform regular follow-up with customers to ensure overdue payments are received promptly.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations concerning accounts receivable and financial transactions.
