Partners Personnel is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator for our client in the Branchburg, NJ area. Contract to Hire - Monday – Friday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, fully On-Site. $58,240 / annually
Job Responsibilities :
- Review purchase requisitions, place purchase orders, and follow up on maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) items.
- Monitor and track delivery dates on purchase orders, scheduling releases from blanket orders.
- Review and evaluate MRO bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budget and scope of authority.
- Resolve any purchase order-invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable (AP) as required.
- Work closely with all departments to resolve issues and ensure the timely procurement of required items.
- Assist with raw material ordering when necessary.
- Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in purchasing decisions.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance in alignment with companies’ procedures, while keeping administrator informed.
