Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, service-driven individual to join the Partnership 4 Kids team as a Program Coordinator in our middle school program.
Partnership 4 Kids (P4K) offers Omaha youth a solid foundation for lifelong success, stewarding them through critical academic transitions and preparing them to successfully achieve higher education and financial stability. It is our mission to engage and inspire students from preschool to graduation, guiding them to success with individualized support, career exploration, and scholarships. Nestled beside the newly renovated Gene Leahy Mall and within walking distance of the historic Old Market, P4K’s location allows employees to spend their lunch breaks exploring unique dining opportunities and strolling through a beautifully manicured park.
P4K is seeking a Program Coordinator to facilitate programming with middle school students (grades 6 – 8), conduct program outreach, and provide individual case management support for program participants and their families.

Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate leadership-focused curriculum between middle school students and their respective mentorsPrepare lesson plan guidelines and handoutsCommunicate meeting logistics to mentors and school administratorsPrepare mentors for upcoming meetings by emailing agendas in advanceProvide a safe and secure environment for relationship development and learning by establishing behavior expectationsActively monitor student-mentor interactions during meetings and provide redirection if behaviors are not meeting set expectationsMeet with students to provide individual case management, supporting their academic goals, addressing barriers to goal achievement, and identifying resources for successMaintain communication with students and families, providing reminders for program meetingsServe as a liaison between the organization and target middle schools, maintaining regular communication with school officialsCultivate and build relationships with students, teachers, school administration, volunteers, and corporate partners to further the organization missionWork closely with program staff from different grade levels to ensure a smooth transition throughout the program continuumProvide match support for students and their volunteer mentors by continually assessing the match relationshipMaintain accurate and timely documentation of students’ academic progress and match-related information in agency databasesJob Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (in human services or education field)Minimum of 1 year experience working with vulnerable youth of relevant age groups in an after-school or school-based environmentFluency in Spanish and English languages preferred; would love someone with knowledge in Somali or Karen as well.Previous volunteer management, teaching, or classroom experience preferredEffective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsCompetency in Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work evenings and weekends as neededDaily access to a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordhc60339
