Auto Parts Assistant Dispatcher
We are a local Michigan owned auto parts company looking for a responsible Assistant Dispatcher to pull orders, check parts and load delivery vehicles.
The assistant dispatcher is also responsible for running operations while the manager is out as well as assisting in deliveries if the deliveries are backing up.
This job requires frequent lifting of auto parts.
This position is part time.
Must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, prepare company delivery vehicles
- Collect return slips and parts from drivers
- Work with return department
- Process and put up morning order
- Assist in deliveries as necessary
- Route drivers according to the deliveries waiting
Skills
- Proven working experience in warehouse work (preferred but not necessary)
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to load and unload delivery vehicles
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
