- Supports a fun and relaxing environment for customers by maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar or service area so that customers can experience the service and setting they expect at all times. Follows all Company service and operating standards.
- Complete all set-up and break-down work as directed. Assist bartenders as required.
- Keeps bars, bar areas, pump rooms, liquor storage areas, etc., clean and stocked at all times.
- Cleans back bar areas including (but not limited to) glass washers, ice machines, walls, stainless steel sinks, floors, drains, trash/recycling cans, pump rooms, etc.
- Sweeps or mops floors in assigned areas.
- Uses a variety of cleaning products and chemicals to clean, and utilizes the chemicals in the correct manner for the purpose prescribed.
- Replenishes and rotates liquor, supplies, ice, and other bar stock as assigned or directed.
- No more than two (2) butts in an ashtray before it is changed.
- Works collegially with supervisors, cocktail servers, bartenders, and other bar porters to prepare and serve drinks quickly and courteously in a clean and comfortable environment.
- Adheres fully to established company and departmental appearance standards, including uniform, hygiene, and general appearance guidelines, at all times.
- Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicits involvement and support from a supervisor.
- Performs tasks in accordance with all sanitation and safety laws and regulations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.
- Must be willing to respond affirmatively to bartenders who request replenishment of bar essentials.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting heavy weight, kneeling, and gripping tools for a full (8) hour shift.
- Capable of communicating in English (both verbal and written communication).
