Primary Purpose
Facilitate the efficient operation of the human resources office and provide clerical services to the department of human resources.

Qualifications
Education / Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in personnel office
- Advanced computer skills used to develop spreadsheets, databases, perform word processing and generate reports using Microsoft Office and other district software systems
- Typing, file maintenance and copying skills
- Effective interpersonal and telephone skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Establish, organize and maintain personnel files for all paraprofessional and certified employees.
- Process all paraprofessional and certified action sheets.
- Monitor and recommend to SBEC instructional paraprofessional employees for certification.
- Maintain teacher service records as assigned.
- Coordinate the distribution and collection of districts' employee evaluations.
- Work with the HR analyst to verify information for all district employees.
- Compile data for supplemental pay list and prepares changes in supplemental pay to appropriate personnel.
- Complete data and maintain report for new personnel requests each year for data entry into position management reporting for the district.
- Process all open records requests for the district relating to human resources.
- Maintain and organize district's online transfer requests for professional and paraprofessional employees each year.
- Prepare payroll with new hires, leave of absence and resignations, etc. for payroll purposes.
- Schedule paperwork for new hires.
- Administer PAC test and Bilingual test.
- Inventory and order supplies used for recruiting.
- Assist with miscellaneous photocopying, filing, telephone calls and word processing.
- Oversee the districts background check process for all volunteers.
- Ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Exhibit professional telephone etiquette.
- Assist Executive Director of HR with staff projections, including but not limites to, using Microsoft Excel developed worksheets.
- Records management.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Serve as first contact for district employees, regarding insurance and benefits related questions.
- Respond to inquiries from employees on various aspects of district's medical, dental, vision, disability, and other voluntary products.
- Assist with preparing for monthly and annual open enrollment meetings
- Process leaves request (FMLA and Temporary Disability) and maintain proper records while employees are out on leave.
