What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiscal Services Specialist (Bond Projects) position at Pasadena Unified School District?

Hours/Day: 8 hours/day
Days/Week: 5 days/week
Months/Year: 12 months/year
Under the general direction of the Facilities Program Manager (Bond Projects) or designee, analyzes and interprets applicable State & Federal laws and regulations, budgetary, programmatic and fiscal policies, procedures, and records to assist school and district staff in the management of bond project finances. Provides technical supervision and support to applicable bond project clerical personnel regarding program compliance monitoring and overall financial activities. Pasadena Unified School District serves the communities of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. The area is prominent for its numerous historical landmarks as well as the Rose Bowl Stadium and Tournament of Roses. Join our team today! EXPERIENCE: Equivalent to four (4) years of full-time technical and professional accounting experience. Prior experience in position equivalent to that of an Accountant in an Accounting, Business or Program Department is highly desirable.
EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or Public Administration or a related field is required.

Salary : $6,917 - $8,081
