JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator would be responsible for overseeing the Home Education Program, IDEA/ESE Services for private schools, Title II, and Title IV for private schools. This role also manages the Students in Transition Program (homeless education), ensuring compliance with the McKinney-Vento Act and state statutes. Additional responsibilities include managing the Title IX grand and ensuring overall program compliance.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field that aligns with area of assignment
- Training or experience in administration of instructional, instructional support programs, or experience that aligns with area of assignment
- Three years’ related professional experience in the area of assignment
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Florida Educator Certification or licensure that aligns with the area of assignment or equivalent leadership training, licensure, or experience as required
