JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates with site-based administrators, staff, district leadership, and families to support implementation of the School District's student discipline policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws, including disciplinary actions. Coordinates with a variety of stockholders for the annual review, adoption, publication, communication, and application of the Student Code of Conduct. Collects, monitors, and reports districtwide discipline data, collaborating in problem-solving measures for increased positive student behavioral outcomes.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Three years of related professional experience in the area of assignment
- Experience in public education
- Certification or licensure that aligns with the area of assignment
- Certification or agreement to earn Educational Leadership, School Principal, Professional School Principal, Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) credential, or equivalent leadership training or experience
- School-based administrator experience
- District-wide or school-wide project implementation
- Extensive knowledge of the student code of conduct and discipline
May be responsible for the supervision of personnel. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding, disciplining, and addressing complaints and resolving problems for assigned personnel.
