7. Job Summary: Civilian position responsible for providing administrative support,
implementation, and evaluation of resources related to the overall well-being of Agency
members and their families related to the spiritual and emotional health for Agency members.
This support will occur through two distinct areas of support, The Family Support Network
(FSN) and Chaplain Unit. The incumbent will provide support for the quality control program
management measures to support the Family Support Network, Chaplain Unit, and the
Community & Agency Resiliency Division. The incumbent will assist the division in the
planning and implementation of effective support and program execution. This position will also
assist in the daily support of the division through secretarial duties, preparation of presentations
and documents, scheduling of meetings, and creation/maintenance of accurate records, files,
reports, and other written and statistical data.
8. Working conditions: Standard Office Environment. Position may travel to other locations
within and outside County areas.
9. Position reports to: Chain of Command in accordance with current organizational chart.
10. Position directly supervises: None
11. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Equivalency And a minimum of
2 years community engagement experience required. A minimum of 2 years faith-based chaplain
or related experience required. A minimum of 2 years support and administrative experience is
preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Must maintain a valid Florida driver license
at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required. Strong oral and written
communication and interpersonal skills is required.
12. Illustrative duties and responsibilities:
75% DUTY AREA: Family Support Services: Illustrative Tasks: Position responsible for
providing general administrative support for the Family Support Services, agency members,
retirees, and their families through the Family Support Network and Chaplain Unit. Responsible
for collecting, documenting, and presenting the utilization of and need for Family Support and
Chaplain resources. Ensure weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports requested by supervisor are
completed thoroughly and timely. Support and assist with the planning and execution of Agency
events presented by the Family Support Network and Chaplain Unit. Provide support to the
Chaplain Unit including goals regarding training, certification tracking, budget documentation,
and records management.

17. Essential Tier Response: Tier 1 - Key and Mission Essential: This position designation is
for those that are needed to ensure the immediate and continued support for operations and mission
essential functions within the agency. It is necessary for this position to perform duties of
leadership, specialized functional support, or subject matter expertise required to sustain the
organization.
18. Remote Work. Position has option for remote work with bureau commander approval.
Employees authorized for remote work may be required to return to the office periodically or upon
request when needed, and any decision to allow remote work remains in PSO’s absolute discretion
and may be subject to change at any time.
