The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, managing existing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our logistics and supply chain services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company’s freight forwarding business (Air, Ocean, and Ground transportation).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including international and domestic logistics accounts.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients by providing tailored logistics solutions.
- Prepare and deliver customized presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and KPI tracking for upper management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Support and mentor junior sales staff (if applicable).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Freight Forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of international trade, Incoterms, and customs brokerage.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Japanese, )
