Job Description

Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer - Mobility

Location: Northville, MI

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Occasional evening and weekend work required as job duties demand

Reports to: Director of Sales - Mobility

Summary/Objective

  • Manage specific sales accounts and promote Nissha Technologies in the automotive market.
  • Requires technical engineering knowledge and presence at OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to promote products/services.

Essential Functions Additional Job Functions Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Manages and Expands Customer Accounts
  • Communicate with customers, acquire forecasts, propose solutions, provide technical services and training, resolve issues, and maintain regular contact.
  • Prepares Estimates and Quotations
  • Develop estimates, sales projections, price quotes, and proposals.
  • Increases Profits
  • Achieve sales goals, analyze trends, research market info, develop sales methods, and share best practices.
  • Represents the Company
  • Attend trade shows and explore ways to improve company image.
  • Executes Corporate Strategy and Business Plans
  • Understand and align with Group goals, contribute to KPIs, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrates Customer Care
  • Build long-term relationships, resolve service issues, provide support proactively.
  • Drives Continual Improvement
  • Focus on kaizen, communicate opportunities for improvement to management.
  • Creates and Maintains Positive Working Environment
  • Uphold corporate culture, lead meetings, ensure compliance.
  • Proven sales experience with consistent targets achievement
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage the sales process end-to-end
  • Competitive product positioning skills
  • Mathematical proficiency for sales calculations

Required Education and Experience

  • Sales account development from scratch
  • Knowledge of display tech, market trends, and IMD/IML
  • Strong internal/external communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or related

Work Environment

  • Office setting with standard equipment (computers, phones, etc.)
  • Moderate noise level
  • May require travel, overtime, factory visits, and hands-on troubleshooting

Physical Demands

  • Regular sitting, talking, hearing
  • Occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Requires close vision and color recognition

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work

Travel

  • Up to 50%
  • Includes overnight and international travel
