As a seasoned financial leader, you will oversee the accounting and finance operations for Pasona N A in New Jersey. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and reports, managing cash flows, developing efficient processes, and supervising accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Implement process improvements in areas of record-to-report, order-to-cash/pay, window with financial institutions, cash management, forecast, and financial cost control to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments or parent company based on direction from Sr. Controller to address issues related to areas of responsibility
- Manage activities relating to Americas Area Finance, including consultation of financial matters for Group Companies in the Americas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory position
- Good understanding of accounting rules (IFRS & US GAAP)
- Experience in general accounting operations (posting, JE's, closing, reporting)
- Bilingual in Japanese required
- Operation of ERP system; experience in JD Edwards a plus
