Job Description
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Manage cash flows, develop forecasts, and implement financial cost control measures
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on accounting rules and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments or parent company based on direction from Sr. Controller
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory position
- Good understanding of accounting rules (IFRS & US GAAP)
- Experience in general accounting operations (posting, JE's, closing, reporting)
- Bilingual in Japanese required
- Operation of ERP system; experience in JD Edwards a plus
