Summer Camp Counselor (Seasonal)

Camp Hope is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Counselors to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for campers. Counselors serve as role models & leaders while guiding campers through daily activities, fostering friendships, and ensuring a positive camp environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising and engaging with campers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Leading and participating in camp activities, including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
• Encouraging camper participation and creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
• Enforcing camp rules and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
• Serving as a positive role model, demonstrating leadership, patience, and enthusiasm.
Assisting with daily camp operations, including meal supervision, cleanup, and aquatic programs.

Requirements:

Education: High school

Experience: Previous experience working with children (camp, school, babysitting, coaching, etc.) preferred.

License: Valid New Jersey driver's license or government-issued ID required.
