Accessible Dental Services ("ADS"), Inc., a subsidiary organization of Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services, is a unique, non-profit organization that provides quality dental care for individuals with disabilities. We use a combination of facilities-based services, along with a mobile unit, to create a superior dental experience for our special needs patients.
Passavant Memorial Homes is currently seeking a Billing and Credentialing Manager for our Harmarville office. The Billing and Credentialing Manager is a full-time position under the direct supervision of the ADS Financial Manager. This position is responsible for all aspects of insurance billing, private pay statements, application of deposits, insurance verifications, and insurance/dentist credentialing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BILLING AND CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST:
- Appropriately submit claims to insurance carriers
- Appropriately issue private pay statements on at least a bi-monthly basis
- Review EOB for denial code/s and make corrections as required
- Application of payments received to patient accounts
- Verify and update patient insurance prior to appointments
- Credentialing/maintenance of credentialing for insurance/dentists as required
- Other duties as assigned by the ADS Financial Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE BILLING AND CREDENTIALING SPECIIALIST:
- Minimum of 18 years of age, required
- Valid PA Driver’s license, required
- Associate’s degree or higher, required
- Background with dental insurance, required
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a dental office, required
- Strong organizational and communication skills, required
- Professional telephone technique, required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, required
- Prior experience in dental software, preferred
