Accessible Dental Services ("ADS"), Inc., a subsidiary organization of Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services, is a unique, non-profit organization that provides quality dental care for individuals with disabilities. We use a combination of facilities-based services, along with a mobile unit, to create a superior dental experience for our special needs patients.

The Director of Business Operations will report directly to the Chief of Staff and is responsible for oversight of the business operations of ADS; ensuring growth, profitability, compliance and quality metric targets are met. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the business operations of ADS.
  • Oversee the daily ADS operations through the direct supervision of ADS employees.
  • Work with the ADS Dental Director to oversee the dental clinic schedule, and ensure that the number of clinics and patients scheduled is in alignment with ADS expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Review and analyze on-going services to assure safety, quality and efficiency in all dental clinics.
  • Maintain standards for dental clinics in accordance with State and Federal law including the American Dental Association and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
  • Coordinate, maintain, and monitor relationships with new and existing patients and provider agency representatives.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are developed and maintained for all dental operations. 
  • Ensure active credentialing status is maintained with all dental insurance providers for all ADS contractors at all ADS clinic locations.
  • In coordination with the Fiscal Department, work with dental insurance providers to maximize revenue and collections for all claims.
  • Develop and implement standards for dental claim audit prevention as well as audit response. 
  • Respond to any crisis events to ensure dental clinics maintain quality standards in times of need.
  • Oversee the implementation of dental operating systems and software offerings with customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through customer contact, response to requests/concerns and semi-annual satisfaction surveys.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees as needed.  Define duties of all dental employees, as needed.
  • Analyze market potential for acquisitions/growth of dental operations.
  • Other duties as necessary under the direction of the Chief of Staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS:

  • Minimum of four (5) years’ management experience in business operations, required.
  • Master’s Degree in Business or Related Field, required.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age, required.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and management skills, required
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License, required.
  • Must be able to accommodate work related travel, required.
