Professional Driver & Moving Specialist Residential & Commercial Moving Services
Location : Madison, AL
Starting Hourly Rate : $20-$25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Paid weekly
Job Type : Part-time, Temporary / Temp-to-Hire
Work Hours : 25-35 hours per week
Starting at 7 : 00 AM
Includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays as workload demands

Job Summary
Join the team of a local, proudly minority-owned company seeking a Professional Driver & Moving Specialist to transport customers' belongings while providing exceptional service safely. You will start as a temp-to-hire employee, with permanent employment, pay raises, and benefits available after approximately three months (480 hours), based on performance on the job. This role is ideal for punctual, efficient, and dependable individuals looking for flexible part-time work and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Operate box trucks and vans safely while conducting vehicle inspections
Load, unload, and secure items to prevent damage during transport
Assist with packing and wrapping items, plan efficient routes using GPS, and maintain professional communication with customers
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and deliveries while adhering to safety and company policies
Qualifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL is a plus!
Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds repeatedly
Experience with commercial or moving vehicles is preferred
Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills
Proficiency with GPS and navigation tools
High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment
This role requires frequent lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and occasional evening shifts is required.
