About the Role

As a Weather Simulation Engineer on the Computational Physics team at PassiveLogic, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced weather simulation models that integrate with our Digital Twin platform. You will be responsible for creating accurate and high-fidelity weather simulations to enable precise analysis and optimization of building systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meteorology, data science, and simulation techniques, along with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.

What you'll do

• Climate modeling : Design, implement, and optimize weather simulation, meteorological, and microclimate models.
• Weather prediction : Provide weather prediction with contexts ranging from having an internet connection with forecast API access to no internet connection and only using locally observable information to forecast weather.
• Autonomous agents : Develop an autonomous agent that combines data fusion with continuous model learning to enhance prediction accuracy.
• Digital twin integration : Integrate weather simulation into PassiveLogic's digital twins and control path predictor platform.
• Object modeling : Develop an interface with the object model through Object Relational Mapping.
• Data analysis : Analyze historical and real-time weather data and validate simulation results.
• Optimization : Continuously optimize simulation algorithms for performance and scalability.
• Documentation : Create thorough and clear documentation for weather simulation models, algorithms, and integration processes.
