Duties
Essential Duties:
- Enters data on the Registry and professional development.
- Prints Registry certificates and sends practitioner correspondence.
- Dates, logs and tracks applications and supporting documentation.
- Compiles statistical data.
- Fields calls and other forms of contact from people interested in the Registry program.
- Refers practitioner qualification, technical assistance and career counseling contacts to the Registry Specialist II.
- Scans and organizes practitioner files into file storage system.
- Coordinates, attends and records minutes of the Registry Approval Panel meeting.
- Attends Registry outreach events.
- Assists in program marketing.
- Performs other duties as necessary.

Requirements
Mental, Physical and Communication Demands:
- Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- .Must be organized and able to pay close attention to detail.
- Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and also closely in a team.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Previous experience interacting in a multi-cultural community.
- Requires knowledge of customer service and oral and written communication
- skills.
- Requires proficiency in computer & typing skills.
- Experience working in the early childhood field is preferred.
- Knowledge of State?s child care licensing requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of community child care issues and resources is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
