What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICF/IID Administrator II position at Pathfinder, Inc.?
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Provides administrative services under the general supervision of the Director of ICF/IID Program Services or Pathfinder, Inc., and/or the Executive Director. Is responsible for the overall operation of one or more Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD). Provides instructional in-service/training in Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI) and other Behavioral Intervention techniques to all employees in direct care positions in other Pathfinder, Inc. programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements procedures and programs that ensure ICF/IID compliance.
- Provides job orientation and in-service training to all employees that is focused on the developmental, behavioral and health needs of the residents.
- Follows Pathfinder ICF/IID procedures and their implementation with regard to resident death or injury; absence and search; criminal activity; abuse/neglect; natural disasters; serious accidents; and disruption of services.
- Provides certification training in Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI) to other Pathfinder employees as scheduled.
- Develops, manages and coordinates the habilitative services.
- Oversees the delivery of care, training, and habilitative services.
- Establishes policies and procedures to control the spread of communicable disease.
- Participates in the development of plans of correction and operational plans, as they relate to the operation of the program.
- Assures facilities are maintained in safe, peaceful, and clean condition.
- Assures all forms and records are completed in timely manner.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field plus 4 years related experience and 2 years related management experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Meets the qualifications for QDDP/QMRP as defined by DDS Quality Assurance Licensing and certification standards. Licensed in Arkansas as a Long Term Care Administrator. Must possess a valid Arkansas Driver's License, maintain current personal liability insurance and registration, and be able to drive Pathfinder, Inc. vehicle if needed.
