What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at PathGroup?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist, under the direction of the HR Supervisor, performs daily activities supporting PathGroup human resource processes including but not limited to; supporting HR data entry and verification, employee relations, performance management, learning management system, policy interpretation, and HR Management Systems projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and update the performance review system utilizing the HRMS. Review and approve reviews and follow up on outstanding items.
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Maintain and update the LMS system utilizing the HRMS. Research courses and create training programs. Assign training courses to employee and follow up on outstanding items.
- Act as the first point of contact for the employee complaint process and assist with internal investigations.
- Process and complete employee merit PAFs.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Assist the HR Supervisor in the implementation and administration of Human Resources functions as assigned.
- Assist the HR Supervisor with special projects and other duties.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry's best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
- Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
EDUCATION & LICENSURE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two to five years of prior job-related experience or applicable combination of education and experience is required.
- Knowledge of State and Federal employment law/regulations and general principles and practices of human resources required.
- Certification Preferred (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP).
