Group Home Manager
General Summary
This position will be supervised by the District Manager and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of
experience working with consumers in the mental health field, experience in residential program operations and personnel supervision.
This is a full time, multi - faceted position which requires flexibility in scheduling and a responsiveness to duty.

- This is a 32-40 hr/wk full time position with 24 hour emergency on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
- Facilitate the implementation of all in-house programming and safety procedures as directed by the C.L.F. Program.
- Facilitate the implementation of resident’s individual treatment plan.
- Assure the proper and thorough training of subordinate employees maintaining ongoing, up to date training in accordance with

Description of Work
A. Resident Needs; Monitoring and Supervision
- Formulating, implementing, assessing and reviewing resident treatment plans in conjunction with the residents and
- Securing, maintaining, updating resident entitlements including food stamps.
- Maintaining, allocating and reconciling resident personal allowances and bank accounts. Breaking down all resident doctor
- Supervision of residents' medical, dental and psychiatric needs. Meeting with all consultants.
- Monitoring monthly weights, medication acquisition and dispensation. Scheduling appointments as applicable.
- Ensuring compliance with and maintaining all recipient rights guidelines. Response to and follow-up on all incidents.
- Maintaining resident records and overseeing data collection.
- Transporting residents as needed.
- Communicating with Guardians, Payees and/or family members as needed.
- Evaluating and interviewing prospective residents with the District Supervisor. Arranging for visitation of prospective
- Maintaining a positive, professional relationship with residents, co-workers, supervisor, guardians and home consultants.

- Monitor and approve the use of PTO for program staff.
- Using the Time clock/payroll processing system to manage staff scheduling.

- Manage and keep up to date the staff-training list on the faculty site and ensure all training is completed.
- Provide ongoing supervision to all staff.
- Prepare a yearly evaluation for all program staff you supervise.
- Ongoing intervention and monitoring of the completion of staff responsibilities and documentation.
- Delegation of responsibilities to subordinate staff.
- Availability to staff on a 24 - hour basis when acting as primary back up. Maintaining the emergency on call system.
- Maintaining petty cash and accountability for all monies utilized by the program.
- Attending all applicable meetings, including resident treatment meetings and case conferences where applicable.
- Scheduling and facilitating staff meetings. Ensuring scheduled house meetings occur.
- Overseeing program and house operations, including general house maintenance and house appearance.
- Completion of monthly manager reports and monthly billings. Attendance at Managers meetings.
- Securing needed equipment, following equipment procedures.
- Attending all training, workshops, seminars as available to maintain and enhance skills.
- Use Agency assigned e-mail for all agency related business and communication with other Pathlight employees.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisors.

The following are basic ON-CALL responsibilities and requirements, not exclusive to the specific program needs.
- The program must have On-Call personnel identified 24 hours a day, seven days every week. This is divided between the
- On-Call Personnel will carry a cellular phone with them at all times while they are On-Call.
- On-Call Personnel must promptly respond to all phone calls concerning issues that may arise at the program. Call back response
- On-Call Personnel must provide staffing for call-ins (by finding staff or covering it themselves).
- Since On-Call responsibilities include decision-making and occasionally coming into work, alcohol consumption as well as,
- On-Call Personnel must be available and able to come to work within a reasonable amount of time (no longer than 90 minutes
they must contact other management at the home or backup managers for relief.
- On-Call Personnel must be familiar with the treatment plans of consumers and reporting requirements for the assigned program.
