We're hiring a full-time Assistant Program Coordinator to help lead our Residential Programs in Thousand Oaks, CA. Our Residential programs support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by teaching independent living skills in a group setting or through one-on-one support in their homes. Your responsibilities may include assisting with cooking, budgeting, scheduling medical appointments, coordinating benefits, and other daily living skills based on individual goals.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 40 hours per week. Variable day, evening and weekend hours.
Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $22.50 per hour. The pay range for this position is $20.49-$30.73 an hour (subject to change based on a variety of factors).

The Impact You'll Make:
- Train and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), address individual concerns, and co-facilitate staff meetings and trainings.
- Review program referrals, complete intake and orientation, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and oversee long-term goals and short-term objectives for individuals in the program.
- Serve as a liaison with funding agencies, service providers, and families, providing regular updates.
- Share rotating on-call duties and respond to emergencies.
- Provide support in key areas such as apartment upkeep, emergency preparedness, shopping, budgeting, social skills, and mobility training.
- Assist individuals with benefits and healthcare matters, including SSI, SSA, SSDI, Medicare/Medi-Cal, and subsidized housing applications.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree (BA) in Psychology, Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Tech savvy and proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regularly scheduled hours, including weekends
- Culturally aware, acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds, possesses skills to collaborate across cultures, and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
- Must hold a valid California driver's license with satisfactory driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience.
