Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
¨ Create and execute annual development plans to secure funding needed to meet PTF’s budgetary needs to carry out its mission and vision.
¨ Monitor, report, and share progress toward goals, facilitating regularly scheduled development meetings with the Executive Director.
¨ Provide leadership in execution and management of PTF development efforts in the state, including individual giving, church, corporate, and foundation relationships, donor appreciation and fundraising events.
¨ Coordinating with the Executive Director, identify, promote, and establish high potential relationships and opportunities.
¨ Steward and develop PTF’s donor base, designing and implementing appropriate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
¨ Coordinate with internal staff in marketing, research, and grant-writing for appropriate advertising and greater visibility of PTF.
¨ Maintain documentation and accurate records on donors and prospects, and keep records confidential.
You will need:
¨ College degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
¨ 2-4 years’ experience in fundraising, nonprofit development , or related field (or equivalent experience).
¨ Intermediate skills in Windows and MS Office applications, and ability to learn Fundraising database and Customer Relationship Management system .
¨ Experience using database/software to meet customer and organizational needs.
¨ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
¨ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
¨ Demonstrated ability to work cross-racially, cross-culturally, and cross-denominationally.
¨ Acceptable driving record
¨ Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
¨ Ability to meet requirements imposed by the State, DOC, or other entity, which may include but is not limited to, a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
