PathWays is looking for a Director of Business Analytics to join our team!
The Director of Business Analytics will lead the agency’s ongoing commitment to support and promote the strategic use of systems and data that advances the overall mission of Pathways. The Director, Business Analytics serves as the principal change leader for the agency providing the leadership for developing and implementing process, system and data strategies and solutions. The Director, Business Analytics is responsible for leading the execution of projects, process improvements, change management and data management initiatives to best achieve the agency’s strategic goals and objectives.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creates, monitors, and aligns the business analytics strategy and vision with agency goals and objectives.
- Lead business analytics team in making team-based decisions about work allocation, quality assurance, motivation, training, evaluation of performance, and preparation of reviews.
- Create and develop IT/IS Analytics that guide system-wide thinking that leads to opportunities for innovation and growth within each program
- Assist in defining and managing the departmental budgetary processes and investment decisions by building and communicating an effective business case.
- Execute and manage the analysis and improvement of existing business and programmatic workflows to increase efficiency, reduce costs and collect relevant data to enhance business operations.
- Leads the management of project teams successfully through identification and alignment of talent to project needs, assigning appropriate scope of work, expectations and accountability to completion and evaluation of project.
- Manage and execute change management strategies based on industry frameworks and methodologies to facilitate organizational transformation.
- Ensure training and support are provided to end users to successfully adopt new processes and systems.
- Manage and execute plan for effective data collection, integration and management ensuring quality, compliance and governance standards while maintaining privacy and security.
- Analyze data to uncover insights that can drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency
- Manage and execute the development of reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrate a data-driven approach by consistently evaluating service delivery through key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics. Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, ensure compliance with industry standards, and enhance outcomes. Use these insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and achieve organizational goals.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a director or similar managerial role, with excellent knowledge of business systems, processes, and needs.
- Background in designing/developing business processes and leading process improvement projects.
- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations with superior strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly communicate the mission and values of PathWays.
- Ability to present a professional image of the organization to colleagues and business contacts.
- Consistent and strong collaborator who elevates the work of cross functional teams.
- Provides direction; clarifies goals and timelines; supports individual team members; fosters open communication and builds cohesive teamwork; acknowledges and values team members’ contribution.
- Well organized and detail oriented, with strong planning skills and high level of enthusiasm.
- Remain current concerning technological advances and other matters concerning program initiatives; attend and participate in seminars, workshops and conferences as deemed necessary. Ability to grasp and learn new concepts in the information technology field.
