Community Based Programs

At FPS, we assist clients in the following ways:

DMH Mental Health Rehabilitation Services

  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) (ages 25 and older)/Transitional Assertive Community Treatment (TACT) (ages 18-25)
  • Community Based Intervention (CBI)
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a specialty service that involves a multi-disciplinary team approach offered in the adults natural setting. ACT services are provided to individuals aged 18 and up with serious and persistent mental illness who also have one or more of the following: a pattern of frequent hospital admissions and/or home lessens, history of a long term hospitalization (s), a co-occurring disorder, involvement with the criminal justice system or who have not been successfully engaged in services and/or have not benefited from traditional mental health services.

ACT of FPS a partner of Pathways is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist. This position is responsible for developing a supportive and inviting environment to meet the needs of consumers with severe and persistent mental illness. Facilitates the efficient and effective operation of the office. Is responsible for daily organizing, coordinating, supporting, and monitoring programmatic operations. The Receptionist serves as a liaison to the FPS stakeholder community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets and processes consumers and other visitors to the FPS office in accordance with HIPAA and privacy policies.
  • Answer the telephone, screen and direct calls, and provide accurate information to callers. Document and relay any messages. Inform all employees of consumer arrival for appointment
  • Perform administrative and clerical support to the FPS office to include producing reports, typing, organizing, filing, arrangements for meetings and setting up for meetings, etc.
  • Maintain Copy room, keep machines filled with paper. Clear paper jams when they occur. Remove faxes from copier and put in appropriate mail boxes
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and other deliveries to the office.
  • Schedule and confirm medical appointments for the Psychiatrist. As needed, assist the doctor with notes, copying, and other request that are administrative in nature.
  • Maintain all reception areas, keeping them neat, clean, and in an organized, pleasant manner.
  • Assist with the payroll process by performing data entry into the PCMS system. Assist in preparing the payroll/pay period package for processing by Corporate Payroll.
  • Maintain established productivity requirements and ensures that all required documentation is completed in a timely fashion, according to FPS and DBH standards.
  • Participate in supervision, training and other professional development activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • An Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Administrative Support, preferably Medical Administrative Support OR 3-5 Years of experience in a medical office as an administrative assistant.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with administrative or clerical duties
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with payroll and/or billing duties
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

Compensation: $43,000.00 - $44,500.00 per year
