Patio Furniture Sales Assistant with Room to Grow!
Patio Productions is looking to add 1 full-time sales assistant to our staff. The position would be at our amazing retail store in San Diego. We also have a defined track to becoming a senior sales person which pays 55K for those that excel as a sales assistant. Our space is unlike any other furniture store you have likely seen. We enjoy an indoor / outdoor environment with huge roll up doors and lofty architectural ceilings among other features that make our showroom extremely unique . No prior experience in Patio Furniture required, we can train any bright and eager candidate.

The ideal candidate will love design and style, be creative, self-motivated, reliable, organized, and hardworking, with excellent attention to detail, great phone skills, good computer skills, a positive attitude, and a great personality that helps you build rapport with people quickly. In short, we are looking for a star! We have a fun and busy environment and are looking to keep that going with positive, fun, and hard-working people!
You MUST have prior experience with Excel, Google Docs and Gmail.
Prior retail sales experience or 4-year college degree preferred.
You will be responsible for interacting with our customers, either face-to-face in our showroom or over the phone and email. We have a very high-end clientele and many of our sales exceed $10,000 so you must be professional and well spoken.
Daily duties include
- Greeting and assisting in store customers,
- Answering phone inquiries
- Creating quotes for residential customer
- Creating and Updating price tags
- Inputting orders
- Helping to keep our showroom looking great by merchandising the showroom floor.
We are entering our busy season, so we are looking for someone who is ready to work hard and be on their feet most of the day.
This position requires at least 1 weekend day of work (2 preferred) and could be either 4 or 5 days a week depending on your schedule / desire.
Compensation
- $20-23 per hr DOE
- Bonuses for company hitting goals (not individual)

- 8 hour shift (Opening Shift 8-4:30 / Closing Shift 9:30-6)
- 1 weekend day of work required
