DEPARTMENT: Production Ministry
The Film Director at Patria Church provides creative support for the Patria Production Ministry by conceptualizing, planning, producing, directing, and editing video content, researching new technology, delivering content, managing volunteers and staff. The Film Director will be responsible for developing and executing creative elements to engage members and families in the Patria Ministry. This role will work closely with the Patria Creative team to create a dynamic and inviting environment that enhances the spiritual development of our members. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity, storytelling, and building a Christ-centered atmosphere through interactive media, events, and communication tools. The Film Director reports directly to the Patria Production Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully embraces and acts in accordance with the vision of Patria Church to Seek the Lost, Teach the Found, and Send the Disciples.

- Embraces and executes a Neighborhood Groups philosophy of ministry.
- Execute all areas of film production from conceptualization to publication as needed.
- Assist in scripting, producing, and editing content for use in services and on other platforms.
- Generate and publish creative work for Patria.
- Participate and contribute to weekly planning meetings.
- Develop and implement ideas to improve workflow and creative efficiency within department.
- Support asset management by coordinating, organizing, and following up.
- Manage and supervise a team of staff and volunteers to accomplish tasks.
- Manage the Patria creative/tech platforms.
- Responsible for editing Patria ministry video footage and promotional videos.
- Develop and implement new strategies to improve the overall creative experience in the Patria Ministry.
- Quality control all media content created by the Patria Film team.
- Work with Patria production team to support service time and special event needs.
- Oversee inventory control of tech materials, products, and equipment used by the ministry.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Research and provide recommendations on hardware, software, and creative solutions.
- Work with other ministry departments to ensure cohesion in creative content across different age groups and services.
- Assist department leaders with any additional ministry related tasks as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Able to successfully complete background investigation and drug screen.
- Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Microsoft Suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- In-depth knowledge, demonstration, and execution of Patria Church vision & values, culture, ministry functions, processes, and procedures.
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, media, design, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in creative media, event coordination, or film preferred.
- Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with editing, databases, and word processing software. Creative based software (Adobe creative, Canva, Cap Cut PowerPoint).
- Strong internet research skills and abilities.
- Prior experience creating video content.
- Experience developing and implementing creative programs, media, and events.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND SPIRITUAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Always demonstrate Christ-centered behavior by treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.
- Member of the Patria Church (or willing to transfer membership to Patria Church).
- Pastors are required to attend all regularly scheduled Sunday and Wednesday church services. Support staff must attend at least one (1) regularly scheduled weekend church service.
- Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
- Regular involvement in Patria Church activities, ministries, neighborhood groups, and events.
- Tithe 10% to Patria Church.
- Signed acknowledgment of the Patria Church’s Statement of Faith.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to Patria Church’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
- Be self-motivated and goal oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.
- Professional attitude and demeanor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
