What are the responsibilities and job description for the "Urgent" General Manager position at Patrice & Associates Franchising, LLC?
Objective
To lead service staff and subsequent employees of Our Client to deliver servant minded service to each guest whether choosing to dine in or carryout with us. To operate with a strong code of ethics and be an example of company's values. General Manager is to be responsible for the items below, but not limited to, based on Ownership discretion.
Primary Requirements
- Managing all employees to maintain high quality standards consistent with the brand (includes hiring, development, counseling, promotion and discipline and termination as appropriate)
- Leading efforts with hiring, training, and mentoring all FOH and BOH staff
- Focusing on P&L management and Food/Labor Costs while not compromising on quality and guest experience
- Ensuring that your restaurant is optimally staffed and that employees are fully trained in all aspects of their current job
- Adhering to company standards and service levels to increases sales and minimize costs
- Enforcing safety and sanitary practices, maintenance and regulatory compliance for the entire restaurant and premises
- Ensuring that all operational basics and standards are adhered to with total commitment
- Overseeing all restaurant administrative requirements including cash handling, completion of guest liability, property, casualty, workers compensation reports and governmental compliance
- Ensuring that all company principles and beliefs are continually taught and practiced
- Demonstrating high ethical standards at all times, adhering to standards laid out in the Company's Code of Ethics policy
- ServSafe Certification Preferred
- 2 years as General Manager in a Full-Service restaurant w/ Bar (Upscale or Fine Dining experience preferred)
- Strong experience with LBW (emphasis on Bourbon and Cocktails)
- Stable job history
- High School diploma or GED required
