Patrick Ahearn Architect is seeking a Marketing Manager with at least 4 years of experience to join the firm’s Back Bay studio. Reporting to the Director of Publicity, the Marketing Manager is a highly organized executor who has experience with social media, graphic design, event marketing, and who is comfortable both navigating through ambiguity and working with a demanding clientele. Your strategic thinking, positive attitude, and ability to “figure it out” when you don’t know the answer will take you far as part of our team. This is a full-time in-office role – remote candidates will not be entertained.
The ideal candidate is someone who has worked either in a fast-paced agency setting or in-house supporting a high-end residential design business or luxury brand. In addition, the candidate should have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skill and attention to detail.
Job responsibilities will include social media community management, production of At Home with Patrick Ahearn contests, email marketing, and more. Some graphic design experience is required – the candidate will design and manage production of all award entries, print advertising, premiums, the annual holiday card, client gifts, and related marketing materials. In addition, the candidate will manage the firm’s website, adding portfolio pieces and press coverage and updating all other sections as needed.
This role also assists with recruitment for the firm, managing participation in career fairs and posting jobs on an as-needed basis. Some internally-focused tasks are required including booking monthly team luncheons, FedExing signed books on behalf of the founder, managing our in-house stock of books and the firm’s storage unit, and planning the firm’s annual summer outing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert user with MS Office suite including PPT, XLS and Word
- Must be comfortable using a PC - Macs are not supported
- Strong familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Ideal candidate has also worked with Canva, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, WordPress and also CapCut or Splice
- A resourceful approach to problem solving
