Patrick Industries Corporate IT department is seeking a Senior IT Support Analyst to join their growing team! This position is critical to the success of the organization's IT operations, providing advanced technical expertise and leadership across systems, networking, and security functions. The Senior IT Support Analyst will oversee complex troubleshooting, system optimizations, and strategic IT projects, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of enterprise IT systems across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Manage and maintain enterprise IT operations, including advanced system administration of operating systems, security tools, applications, and servers.
- Act as a technical escalation point for Tier 1 analysts, resolving complex IT issues and leading critical problem-solving initiatives.
- Lead enterprise software upgrades, such as ERP systems, cloud migrations, or virtualization projects using VMware or Azure.
- Design, monitor, and troubleshoot advanced networking infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
- Firm understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity measures, including vulnerability assessments, security audits, and managing enterprise-level security tools like SIEMs and firewalls.
- Automate routine processes and tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to enhance system efficiency.
- Manage cross-functional IT projects, collaborating with Business Unit Directors to meet business objectives and timelines.
- Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Tier 1 support staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, negotiating solutions for software bugs, upgrades, and break-fixes.
- Ensure compliance with IT best practices and policies while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
