A division of Patrick Industries located in the Elkhart County area, produces laminated wood products for the Recreational Vehicle industries and Manufactured Housing industries. We are currently looking for experienced Forklift Operators..
This fast paced, high-volume position is crucial for the execution of daily production. Forklift Operators will be working with manufacturing employees who will communicate their needs on the production line, and it is the Forklift Operators responsibility to help fulfill those needs by picking up and delivering parts.
Responsibilities:
- Moving product from the staging or warehouse area to machine operators whose production rates depend on the forklift operator.
- Loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Ensuring and operating equipment in safe operating condition
- Following all safety policies and procedures
- Checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 1 years’ experience operating Forklift equipment.
- Good work history and attendance record
- Meet the physical demands of the position including moving quickly off and, on the forklift, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the duration of the shift.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use scan gun technology – AX Dynamics experience preferred.
