What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist (PRCC) position at Patriot Branding?
Job Summary:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Find and contact customers to ask about their overdue payments.
- Update account status records and collection efforts.
- Assist with Internal Audit Requests.
- Send monthly Dunning Letters to customers.
- Communication with customers, field, and other departments.
- Assist Revenue Analysts on outstanding customer balances and accounts.
- Relief Support to Cash Application Specialist, including data entry of cash/ACH receipts coding and filing.
- Research unidentified cash receipts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior Accounting - Collections experience.
- A.A. (2-year degree) preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and a self-starter.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under restricted time elements.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- SAP experience a plus.
- Railroad experience preferred.
The candidate selected for this position must successfully complete a background screening and a drug test. Passing results must be received prior to start date in new position.
