Patriot Erectors LLC is expanding, and we are looking for a highly motivated Field Procurement Coordinator to join our dedicated team. We want to hear from you if you have extensive knowledge and experience in steel, manufacturing, and field services!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess vendor proposals.
- Lead vendor/supplier selection and maintain/grow working relationships for raw materials, supplies, and capital equipment.
- Assist in the development and execution of purchasing strategies.
- Negotiate with strategic suppliers/vendors for optimal terms.
- Work with vendors to maintain and/or improve services.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors/suppliers.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks; perform cost and scenario analysis; identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review standard pricing updates.
- Monitor/manage vendors and vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of general and 5 years of project management experience in the structural steel industry – commercial fabrication experience is a plus.
- 3-6 years of demonstrated experience working in a Procurement/Fabricator fast-paced environment.
- Construction/steel manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office & Office Products.
- Preferred: Experience working with Tecla/Viewpoint systems.
