Position Summary:
Patriot Fire Protection is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse & Procurement Coordinator to support our Stockbridge location. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our sprinkler, alarm, and inspection jobs are properly stocked, costed, and supported through accurate ordering, receiving, and material tracking. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, procurement, and basic accounting/job costing.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
- Receive, label, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Track inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Assist field crews and technicians with material handling.
- Conduct cycle counts and regular inventory audits.
Materials Ordering & Procurement:
- Order parts and equipment for stock and awarded projects/jobs.
- Communicate with project managers and field teams to confirm material needs and deadlines.
- Research and compare products and pricing from multiple vendors to ensure the best value.
- Develop and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers and manufacturers.
- Monitor backorders and expedite deliveries as needed to keep projects on schedule.
Job Costing & Accounting Support:
- Allocate material costs accurately to specific jobs using job costing codes.
- Work with the accounting department to ensure accurate PO and invoice entry.
- Track and report on cost variances between estimated and actual expenses.
Purchase Order Management:
- Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and budget guidelines where necessary.
- Verify accuracy of pricing, product details, and delivery terms before placing orders.
- Maintain clear and organized records of all POs, receipts, and vendor communications.
- Follow up on outstanding POs and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, purchasing, and/or construction job costing.
- Familiarity with fire protection, electrical, and/or pipe related industry materials (preferred but not required).
- Strong ability to research, compare, and negotiate pricing with vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or ERP systems a plus.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift/pallet jack).
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college or technical education is a plus.

Salary : $55,000 - $62,000
