What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Security Officer position at Patriot Machine Inc?
Oversee and implement industrial security requirements for a cleared Department of Defense contractor. Maintain compliance with classified federal, contractual and company requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Program Security Officer
- Operate in accordance with the NISPOM and other DoD security guidance
- Manage DoD SAPF and SCIF environments
- Develop effective security awareness, training and education programs
- Review and interpret Government issued DD 254’s to provide security direction to the company regarding classified contracts
- Interface with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) representatives and other high-level leadership
- Perform classified document control functions and input data into Security Information Management System
- Conduct indoctrinations and debriefs of classified program personnel
- Analyze, investigate and resolve classified security issues and provide guidance on appropriate actions to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Must be detail-oriented and meticulous, possessing strong administrative skills
- Must be a US Person and have a Secret Security Clearance
- Possesses an understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
- Bachelor’s degree and six years of relevant experience preferred
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality, handling company private, sensitive and personal information in a professional and discrete manner
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and strong written communication skills required
