Warehouse Lead

Job Summary:

As Warehouse lead you will help oversee the daily flow of work including but not limited to picking, packing, receiving, shipping operations in a fast-paced order fulfillment warehouse. You will also lead a small team of individuals to help organize the workflow for each day along with assisting the Warehouse Logistics Manager with other necessary duties. These duties may include shipment scheduling with couriers, or freight forwarders, filling out shipping documents, contacting outside vendors, or working with other departments within the company. You must be able to comply and enforce procedures that have been established, and have the ability identify process improvements. You must be able to promote a work environment where employees feel engaged and empowered. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Logistics Manager.

Organization Structure:

· Report directly to the Warehouse Logistics Manager

· Will work closely with the Customer Service Representative (CSR) group, RMA personnel, Sales team and assist with any requests as long as approved by Warehouse Logistics Manager or Director of Operations.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

· Responsible for daily cycle counts

· Receiving of inbound shipments

· Verify items for quantity and description against purchase order before receiving into ERP system.

· Put away products in an organized and accurate fashion

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas of the warehouse

· Domestic and International shipment processing including proper documentation included along with emailing of documentation

· Scheduling pickups and drop offs.

· Process shipments through the current ERP system and ensure all documentation is filled out properly, stamped and signed.

· Maintain proper levels of shipping materials

· Perform end of day duties with shipment manifests

· Assist other departments as requested (RMA, Packaging, etc.)

· Pick all sales orders (Sales or RMA) accurately and efficiently

· Fulfill all sales orders (Sales or RMA) accurately and efficiently according to priority

· Repackaging or Relabeling products as needed

· Keep products on shelves organized and easily accessible.

· Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the Logistics Manager and Director of Operations.

· Pick orders with accuracy and efficiency

· Shipping products with accuracy and efficiency

· Maintain inventory controls and accuracy

· Receive and put away inventory with accuracy and efficiency

· Take on daily or weekly projects with little supervision

· Work with other team members to organize and perform daily workflow

· Strong leadership skills

· Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm

· Maintaining 100% inventory accuracy

· Ability to process a high number of orders in a short time frame

· Must be able to work under pressure

· Identifying all products

· Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Context/Environment:

· Position is in a warehouse environment

· Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours daily

· Able to lift boxes up to 60 lbs.

· You must wear close-toed shoes

· Proficient with Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Proficient in editing PDF files

· Work with couriers and freight forwarders on a daily basis

· Experience with international documentation

· Clean driving record

· Must be self-motivated

· Strong work ethic with a strong thought process

· Listen and follow instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
