Job Summary:
We are seeking a “advanced” laborer 2 to join our team as a full-time employee. In this role, you will be responsible for your own safety as well as assisting other employees with all required tasks. This will include but are not limited to general labor, digging thrust blocks, stringing pipes, sweeping streets, understanding of how to set up a laser, read stakes, grade trench, ability to lay a variety of pipe and work with little direction from the pipelayer. Patriot Pipeline would like to see this person become a pipelayer within 2 years.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ability to listen and execute duties correctly.
· Ability to lay a variety of pipe.
· Understanding of setting up a laser and reading stakes.
· Promote, execute, and adhere to Patriot Pipeline safety program.
· Wear the required PPE.
· Attending regular safety training.
Qualifications:
· Prolonged periods of standing and stretching.
· Physically able to twist, scoop, bend, kneel, and walk on uneven ground.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds at a time.
· Strong knowledge of safe operating practices and OSHA safety standards.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
· Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform strenuous tasks.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Employees will rotate on an on-call basis.
· Employment would require some in-state travel.
· *Must pass pre-employment Drug Test*
All field workers are required to always have/wear the following items:
· Hardhat
· Engineering Tape Measure
· Torpedo Level
· Safety Vest
· Marker/Keel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: DOE from $19.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
