Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and experience in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish on all projects. Must have experience spraying and not afraid of ladders or heights.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Perform drywall repairs and caulking as needed to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Execute construction painting tasks including stucco application and plaster work.
• Collaborate with carpenters on trim carpentry projects to achieve desired aesthetics.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with the finished product.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting and remodeling projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with stucco application, drywall installation, caulking techniques, and plastering is highly desirable.
• Experience in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
