Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both interior and exterior apartment homes. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish. We have multiple opportunities available in Savannah, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Naples and Sarasota.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush/roller methods.
- Renovate and maintain existing painted surfaces to ensure longevity and aesthetic appeal.
- Participate in remodeling projects that require painting expertise, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Skills
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques.
- Experience with drywall installation and repair.
- Familiarity with industrial painting processes and safety protocols.
- Strong renovation skills with an eye for detail in maintaining aesthetic quality.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
