The Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily clinical operations of resident care within the community. Administrative responsibilities include providing development of future health care delivery strategies and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achievement of high quality resident care standards which are compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Assumes responsibility for forecasting, planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating all clinical services and programs.
- Assumes responsibility, administrative authority and accountability for the supervision of nursing care provided to those we serve.
- Assumes responsibility, administrative authority and accountability for the Quality Assurance program.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of the Nursing Department’s budget.
- Monitors admissions, discharges and transfers to assure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations.
- Ensures that the Policies and Procedures of the Health Center are updated and in compliance with State and Federal requirements.
- Assists in the recruitment and hiring of clinical staff members.
- Serves as a temporary substitute for Nursing personnel.
- May be considered a member of the Weekend Call rotation.
- Serves as a community resource for nursing and long term care related issues.
- Attends in-services and meetings as needed.
- Other reasonable responsibilities as community changes and needs dictate, as requested by the Administrator or ED.

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
