Are you a skilled technician with a knack for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment? Patriot Trinity, an AISC Certified Steel Fabrication and Erection company, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
Summary/Objective:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Emergency Repairs: Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Machinist Duties: Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Mechanic Skills: Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair skills for production machines.
- Maintenance: Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnostics: Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machines such as CNC Drill lines, Plate Processor, and overhead cranes.
- General Maintenance: Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Tool Usage: Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Quality Control: Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Participate in the safety program and maintain clean work areas.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma/GED required. A degree in electrical maintenance or completion of a craft apprenticeship is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Basic math skills are essential.
- Experience: Must have safe working habits, be highly motivated, and able to work independently.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently, with heavier weight necessary at times.
- Certificates and Licenses: OSHA 1910 General Industry 10-hour qualification required within 14 days of employment.

Work Environment:
- Conditions: Non-climate-controlled environment with hazards such as welding, torching, and grinding implements.

- Activities: Occasionally required to climb, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
